Consistent Analysis of the AGN LF in X-Ray and MIR in the XMM-LSS Field

The luminosity function (LF) of active galactic nuclei (AGN) probes the history supermassive black hole assembly and growth across cosmic time. To mitigate selection biases, we present a consistent analysis AGN LFs derived for both X-ray mid-infrared (MIR) selected in XMM-Large Scale Structure (XMM-LSS) field. There are 4268 used to construct MIR (IRLF) 3427 (XLF), providing largest census population out $z=4$ bands with significant reduction uncertainties. We able first time see knee IRLF at $z>2$ observe flattening faint-end slope as redshift increases. bolometric density, proxy accretion history, computed from our shows peak $z\approx2.25$ recent estimates star formation rate density (SFRD). However, earlier epochs, is flatter than SFRD. If confirmed, this result suggests that build up mass outpaces stellar high systems $z\gtrsim 2.5$.
